FAQs
What are Blair Hollow candles made from?
Can I shop online?
Our candles are poured in-house in small batches using a coconut-forward wax blend and a thoughtfully layered blend of essential oils and clean fragrance oils for balanced, beautiful performance. All candles are phthalate-free, paraben-free, petroleum-free, vegan, gluten-free, and Prop 65 compliant.
How do I care for my candle?
Trim the wick to about ¼" before each burn. On the first burn, let the wax melt fully to the edges. We recommend burning in 3–4 hour intervals and allowing the candle to cool completely before relighting—candles burn hotter the longer they’re lit, and a short reset helps keep the flame steady, reduces soot, and extends the life of your candle. For wick trimming: cotton wicks should be trimmed to ¼" and any mushrooming removed; wood wicks should have the brittle char snapped off so ⅛–¼" remains.
Do you offer candle making workshops?
Do you accept returns?
Workshops are scheduled, reserved events (we’re not a walk-in candle bar). You’ll create a full-size candle with guided scent blending and instruction. Plan for 60–75 minutes of candle-making, followed by light refreshments, social time, and workshop-only shopping perks while your candle cools—so you can take it home the same day.
Not yet — but soon! The website currently shares candle details, scent stories, workshop info, and visit hours. Email subscribers will be the first to know when online ordering goes live.
Because candles are considered a personal use item, all sales are final. If your order arrives damaged or there’s an issue with your candle, contact us and we’ll make it right.
